Submissions


All authors agree that submissions will be reviewed and may be edited by our editors. By submitting content, the author grants permission to Ancient History Encyclopedia to publish the submitted material, in any medium, in any territory. This may include offline media, such as books.

Authors retain the right to modify their content at any time. Any modification will be reviewed by the editors. Authors can also delete this article, as long as it is not already available in an offline medium.

All submissions should include academic references / a bibliography, cleary stating the author's sources. Plagiarism (ie. the use of other writers' material without clearly indicating the source) is not permitted, and in no case may an author use material protected copyright without a written permission by the copyright holder, which must be presented to the editing staff.

You can submit content on the submissions page, or on any definition page.

We believe in copyright and do everything to respect it. We do our best to make sure that all our content does not violate any copyright or intellectual property, but the authors are responsible for making sure that they do not plagiarize and that they respect copyright. All content on this site is used for non-commercial educational purposes, as we are a non-profit organization.

If you believe that we are in breach of any copyright, please don't sue us. Simply contact us and we will take the content off the site immediately.
