Domus Aurea

One of the vaulted rooms in Nero's golden House, also known as the Domus Aurea. Built following the fire which devastated parts of central Rome in 64 CE the palace was a vast complex of banquet halls and courtyards. The statue is of a Muse and was found near the site.
