  • Product Description

From 1986 onwards, a large team of archaeologists have worked at the massive coastal site of ed-Dur on the south-eastern Arabian coast. Occupied from the 1st century BC until the 4th century AD, with periods of prosperity and decline, the site was most probably the only major coastal occupation between Qatar and the Straits of Hormuz for much of its early history. This first volume to come out of the excavations contains a catalogue of the glass vessels uncovered at the site, along with an introduction and concluding discussion. (Peeters Publishers 1998)
